During a recent Planning and Zoning Commission hearing, commissioners voted to approve changes to the exterior facade, which will now be considered for approval by the city council Tuesday.
Some of the proposed changes to the developer's original plan include: removing any LED banding or lighting to the building or around signage for the exterior of the building, replacing any dead or dying landscape in the parking lot area and wrapping the canopy columns in brick, which will match the elevations in color and materials of the main building, according to the city council agenda packet.

City officials say the standard number of vehicles allowed to be "stacked" around the site and through the drive thru is 24 vehicles. During the opening and other busy times, traffic can be routed around the site before entering the drive-thru lanes, "increasing the stacking to 59 spaces" in Crystal Lake.
The average time for a drink pickup after an order is placed at the 7-Brew is estimated to be four minutes.
The Crystal Lake City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday to vote on the final planned unit development amendment for the 7-Brew.
