Portillo's Opens In Algonquin
The area got a new Portillo's with the opening of the restaurant off Randall Road in Algonquin.
ALGONQUIN, IL — The newest Portillo's has opened in the area off of Randall Road in Algonquin.
Located at 1801 S. Randall Road, the restaurant celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday. At a ribbon cutting ceremony, Portillo's Vice President of Restaurant Support Michael Portillo, whose father is founder Dick Portillo, said the first Portillo's opened 60 years ago in Villa Park, according to Shaw Local News Network.
"It hits me, as it does every time we open a restaurant, that the stories, the memories that people have and share, that is what makes Portillo's so special," Michael Portillo said.
