Probe Underway Into Death Of Juvenile In McHenry County
The juvenile, who is from Richmond, died Wednesday.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — An investigation is underway into the death of a McHenry County juvenile, authorities said Thursday.
The McHenry County Coroner's Office will perform an autopsy on the juvenile, who is from the Richmond area, on Thursday, McHenry County Coroner Michael Rein said in a news release.
The McHenry County Sheriff's Office is also assisting in the investigation.

Fire district officials said emergency responders were called to home in the 9600 block of Hallandale Lane in Richmond township at about 10:50 a.m. for a report of a boy who was experiencing "difficulty breathing," according to Shaw Local News Network.
The juvenile was taken to Northwestern McHenry Hospital and pronounced dead in the emergency room at about 12 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the coroner's office statement.
