Serious Crash Closes Portion Of Quinnipiac Avenue: Police
Drivers are urged to avoid the area following the collision in the area of Montowese and Quinnipiac avenues.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police have closed a portion of Quinnipiac Avenue Saturday evening following a "serious crash," according to authorities.
The North Haven Police Department was called to the scene of the collision in the area of Montowese and Quinnipiac avenues in North Haven on Saturday evening, according to a post on Facebook from North Haven police at about 6:50 p.m.
Quinnipiac Avenue from Fitch to Moultrop and Montowese from Fitch to Clark will be closed for an extended period of time while police investigate the crash. Drivers are asked to avoid the area, police said.
