Snow Expected Tuesday In Crystal Lake, Cary
The Crystal Lake and Cary area could get three inches of accumulation during the Tuesday winter storm.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — It will soon be time to get that shovel out again. Snow is on its way, and the Crystal Lake and Cary area could see three inches of snow fall on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The snow is expected to start falling between 4 and 7 a.m. Tuesday, which could lead to slippery conditions during the Tuesday morning commute.
The snow will continue through the day on Tuesday with bursts of steady snow expected, according to the National Weather Service. In Crystal Lake and Cary, between one to three inches of snow are possible during during the day, with less than one inch of additional snow possible as well on Tuesday night.

A high of 35 degrees is in the forecast on Tuesday. Temps will drop to a low of 30 degrees on Tuesday night.
