Special Metra Schedules Set for July 3, 4

Metra will have a special schedule in place on the Union Pacific Northwest Line on Wednesday, July 3.

There will be extra outbound trains running between 1:24 p.m. and 3:26 p.m. Stops in Palatine have been added to trains running at 5:06 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.

In addition to the added and modified train schedule on July 3, there are also a handful of canceled trains to be aware of. Several outbound trains between 3:25 p.m. and 6:01 p.m. will not run Wednesday. The inbound train at 4:20 p.m. is also canceled. All other trains will operate on the normal weekday schedule. 

The weekend/holiday schedule will be in place for all Metra lines on Thursday, July 4.
