State Grant To Help Fund Upgrades At Della Park

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Crystal Lake Park District has received an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development development grant for $329,000 to complete work at Della Park.

The grant will fund renovating the playground at the park, which is located at 5 Della St., while adding additional features, according to a news release from the park district. Those features include:

  • The addition of an accessible walking path that will looping through an area of habitat restoration with interpretive signage
  • A park picnic shelter and baggo game
  • A stone council ring seating area
  • A challenge fitness area,
  • New play equipment
