Tickets Available For Norge Ski Jump Competition

The annual competition at Norge will be held on Jan. 29 and 30.

FOX RIVER GROVE, IL —The annual Norge Ski Jump Tournament in Fox River Grove will be held the last weekend in January.

Olympians from around the world will compete at the two-day event on Jan. 29 and 30, according to a Norge Ski Club Facebook post. Gates will open at 11 a.m. and the competition will run from noon to 4 p.m. on both days of the event.

Located at 100 Ski Hill Road, Norge is the oldest operating ski jump in the country, according to the Norge Ski Club Facebook post. This year's ski jump competition is in its 117th year.

Tickets are available to purchase online; children ages 12 years old and younger are free. Those stopping out are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs. Dogs and carry-ins are not allowed.

Free Shuttle Busses will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for spectators attending the event on Jan. 29 and 30. All riders over the age of 2 years old must wear a mask on the bus.

No eating or drinking is allowed on the bus. The bus will stop at the Metra train Station in Fox River Grove as well as the Stonehill Shopping Center parking lot at the intersection of Route 14 and Route 22.
