Townhome Is Uninhabitable Following Wednesday Evening Blaze: Fire Officials
The cause of the blaze, which was reported in the 1900 block of Concord Drive in McHenry, is under investigation.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A townhome in McHenry has been deemed uninhabitable following a fire Wednesday night, fire officials said.
The McHenry Township Fire Protection District was called to the blaze in the 1900 block of Concord Drive in McHenry at about 10 p.m. and found a fire coming from the second floor of a three-story townhome, according to a news release from the fire protection district.
The building was evacuated, and firefighters brought the blaze under control within 30 minutes. No one was injured in the fire, according to the news release.
