Woodstock Apartment Fire Causes $10K in Damages

The fire broke out at an apartment located above Crossroads Smoke Shop, 235 N. Benton St., Woodstock.

A Sunday morning apartment fire caused about $10,000 in damage in Woodstock, the Northwest Herald reports. The fire broke out at an apartment that was undergoing renovations at 235 N. Benton St.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 10:00 a.m. Nov. 3. The apartment is located above Crossroads Smoke Shop. Firefighters had the blaze under control within five minutes, and no injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation, the Herald reports.
