Join us for a special program researched and created by Kim White, a local master naturalist, who has had a lifelong interest in the natural world.
Kim will discuss some of the women who have contributed to our understanding of natural history from 1458 B.C.E. to this century.
Many women, proficient in a scientific or natural history discipline, were informally educated or self-taught, and rarely given the credit they deserved during their lifetimes, and many women have never been fully recognized for their accomplishments.
Our January 2026 General Meeting will follow the presentation.
