Darien Restaurant Opening Delayed To October
The chain's owner said the company was still at least a month and a half from opening.

DARIEN, IL — The owner of The Fry the Coop Restaurant chain says a proposed Darien location is still a month and a half to two months from opening.
Owner Joe Fontana told Patch on Wednesday the company was probably looking at mid-October to open, as it is still hiring and training employees, among a couple of other things.
Fontana had previously told the Darien City Council he aimed to open in September, three months later than originally hoped for.
