Darien police are warning residents about a serial phone scam that's circulating around the area right now.In several situations, people have answered calls in which the caller asks "Can you hear me?" and the person who answers reasonably responds with a "yes." According to police, that "yes" can be recorded and used to purchase a product or service without the responder's knowledge.Cops advise just hanging up if you receive a call like this.
