Fights, House Eggings and a Slew of Traffic Violations: Darien Police Blotter

Take a peek at what Darien police have been up to.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Traffic violations

  • Kyle Cherry, 22, was arrested at the intersection of Cass Avenue and Interstate 55 on Feb 3 for driving with a suspended license and not having insurance. He was initially stopped by cops at 10:16 p.m. because his car had no rear license plate. He’s expected in court in Downers Grove on March 2.
  • Marcel Andrews, 24, was stopped the afternoon of Feb. 4 for a traffic violation and subsequently arrested for not having a valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
  • Kimberly Neller, 49, was stopped around 12 a.m. Feb. 5 for driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured car.
  • Patricia Rosinski, 57, was charged with driving with a suspended license and no insurance after police responded to a private property accident that she had been involved in on Cass Avenue.

Vandalism

  • A Darien resident who lives in the 1000 block of Village Court told police around 10:30 p.m. Feb. 3 that someone had egged their house. The cost of possible damage to the home is currently unknown.

Disorderly conduct

  • Darien police officers responded to a call around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 4 about a fight that had broken out at the intersection Bailey Road and Pinehurst Drive. When officers arrived on the scene, they found that one of the men involved, Christopher Daniels, had an outstanding warrant out of the Oak Forest Police Department. He was taken into custody. Nobody else was arrested at the scene.
