DARIEN, IL – Darien is making improvements to Clarendon Hills Road this summer. The project includes a new sidewalk along the east side from Plainfield Road to 67th Street, the construction of a crosswalk into Community Park and the installation of a traffic light at 67th and Clarendon Hills Road. Detours are planned from Monday to Aug. 7, the city said. For more information, call Regina Kokkinis in the Darien city government at 630-353-8105.
