Police Blotter: Darien Police Charge Man With Possession of Stolen Vehicle

Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle
At about 2:28 a.m., Charles E. Gittens, 30, of 7373 Blackburn Avenue in Downers Grove was charged with felony for possession of stolen motor vehicle. Police say they observed Gittens driving a vehicle that was previously reported stolen to the Downers Grove Police Department. Police say Gittens was in possession of a glass pipe with a controlled substance inside and a revoked drivers license. He was arrested, charged and transported to DuPage County Jail.
