DARIEN, IL – Darien was among the places where a serial groping suspect committed his crimes, authorities said. Kwame Koranteng, 31, of Willowbrook, was charged Saturday with such incidents, which also occurred in Hinsdale and Downers Grove, police said. About 10:15 p.m. Thursday in Darien, Koranteng followed a woman into the lobby of the Farmingdale Apartments, which are in the 7500 block of Farmingdale Drive, police said. Koranteng is accused of grabbing her buttocks and then leaving the vestibule. The incident was reported to Darien police the next day. A Patch story over the weekend detailed <a href="https://patch.com/illinois/downersgrove/serial-groper-who-preyed-women-public-arrested-dupage-county-authorities">the allegations against Koranteng</a> in the suburbs. Koranteng was charged with criminal sexual abuse, attempted criminal sexual assault, two counts of aggravated battery in a public place and two counts of aggravated battery of a person over 60, authorities said.
