Bannockburn’s Heinen’s Grocery Store opens Wednesday.
This is the third Chicago-area location for the Ohio-based grocer, which has stores in Barrington and Glenview. It also has 17 stores in the Cleveland suburbs. The business is run by the founder’s twin grandsons, Jeff and Tom Heinen, who will be on hand for Wednesday’s 10 a.m. ribbon cutting, according to the company.
The store replaces the shuttered Dominick’s at the Bannockburn Green shopping center at 2503 Waukegan Road.
