Pavement Marking May Cause Traffic Delays Wednesday
One-day operation will have biggest impact near downtown and Pfingsten Road.

Deerfield motorists can expect some delays today as a result of one-day pavement marking operations in select spots of the Village, .
The greatest impact will be in the vicinity of the Osterman and Robert York Avenue intersection as well as on Pfingsten Road between Lake Cook Road and the Corporate 500 complex, according to the notice.
Both projects near commercial thoroughfares will take place at off peak hours to avoid school bus traffic on the first day of school for , and , according to Guccione.

There will also be a few pavement marking operations in residential neighborhoods but the impact on traffic flow is expected to be minimal.
“The majority of work associated with today’s operation is replacing stop bars and cross walks that were impacted during this year’s street rehabilitation program,” Guccione said in the statement. “These locations are not near any schools and will not impact any bus routes.”
