Plan to Turn Berto Center into High-End Event Venue Approved
The former Bulls practice facility will host weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and other large events.

The Board of Trustees has given its stamp of approval to turn the Berto Center into a high-end event venue, according to an article in the Deerfield Review. The project was unanimously approved.

The Deerfield Plan Commission unanimously endorsed a proposal to turn the Berto Center into a high-end event center, according to an article in the Deerfield Review.
Event Creative LLC wants to open a second “Venue One” location at the former Bulls training center. It operates another Venue One location in the West Loop. It would host weddings, bar mitzvahs, charity events and galas, as well as weekday corporate meetings.

Some of the building’s design elements would be completely changed, but others would be incorporated into the new venue. For example, the Bulls practice court would become the main dining room, with only the floor being swapped out.
The proposal now goes to the Deerfield Board of Trustees, the Review article says.
