Riverwoods Police Arrest 2 For Driving Under The Influence: PD

A Gurnee woman and an Oswego man were arrested and charged with DUI after both were pulled over in Riverwoods over the past week.

RIVERWOODS, IL – Riverwoods Police made a pair of arrests involving driving under the influence of alcohol over the past week, the department announced.

Residents are reminded that the filing of criminal charges does not equate with a guilty finding. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Allie M. Leafblad, 29, Gurnee, was arrested at 10:33 p.m. on Dec. 15 near Lake Cook Road and Portwine Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. She was processed and released and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 10 in Waukegan.

Stephen P. Heinrich, 39, Oswego, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. on Dec. 17 near Lake Cook Road and Portwine Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and violation of the firearm concealed carry act for possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated. He was processed and released and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 10 in Waukegan.
