Teen Burglary Suspect Due in Court Monday

Joseph Mahoney is scheduled for arraignment in Waukegan.

 and  makes his first court appearance at 1:30 p.m. Monday for a scheduled arraignment in Lake County Court in Waukegan.

Joseph Mahoney and Josh Norris, both 17, of Deerfield were originally arrested August 3 for home invasion when they allegedly entered a Highland Park home on the 3000 block of Parkside. They were also charged with illegally entering a Deerfield residence August 2 to take the gun used in the August 3 events.

Mahoney is scheduled to appear in court Monday. Norris first appeared in court August 15 when his case was continued to Sept. 27 at 9 a.m. in Waukegan, according to Assistant Lake County State’s Attorney Ari Fisz.

Two weeks later, , was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deal. An attorney for Mahoney has said the cases are related.
