Uninsured Drunken Driver Leaves Accident Scene: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter
The arrest of the Wauconda man occurred in North Barrington, according to police.

Giavantia L. Leonard, 24, of the 1500 block of N. Pleasant Drive, Round Lake Beach, had a warrant for violating an order of protection, and was arrested Nov. 24 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. Leonard was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report, and was assigned a court date of Dec. 17.
NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Gerald E. Arenas-Plascencia, 22, of the 700 block of N. Linden Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of no driver's license, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested Nov. 25 at Route 134 and Wilson Road, unincorporated Round Lake. He was released following his arrest.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Chase T. Johnson, 24, of the 400 block of Grand Boulevard, Wauconda, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance, and was arrested Nov. 25 in the 600 block of Golfview Drive, North Barrington. He was released following his arrest and assigned a court date of Jan. 14, 2026.
- Jose A. Arellanez-Galindo, 39, of the 400 block of Sheridan Road, Highwood, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, reckless driving, and was arrested Nov. 30 at Wadsworth and Green Bay roads, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 7, 2026.
VIOLATING A NO-CONTACT ORDER
Ernest P. Lamy, 72, of the 34400 block of N. Bridle Lane, unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of violating a no-contact order, and was arrested Nov. 26 in the 34400 block of N. Bridle Lane, unincorporated Gurnee. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 10.

THEFT OF LABOR/SERVICES
Matthew J. Brazys, 73, of Waterloo, Wisconsin, is accused of theft of labor/services, and was arrested Nov. 28 at Route 45 and Washington Street, Third Lake. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 17.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Chase T. Johnson, 24, of the 400 block of Grand Avenue, Wauconda, is accused of disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of ammunition, and was arrested Nov. 30 in the 400 block of Grand Avenue, Wauconda. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Dec. 2.
