Waukegan Friends Hosts Annual Benefit “A Night at the Disco!”

Waukegan, IL - Waukegan Friends, a non-profit organization that focuses on community, social justice, equality and inclusion, especially in the LGBTQI+ community, is hosting their annual benefit on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Waukegan Yacht Club. “A Night at the Disco!” will raise funds and awareness to benefit the life-saving work Rainbow Railroad.

“A Night at the Disco!” Time: 7 – 11 PM

Waukegan Yacht Club; 199 North Harbor Place, Waukegan, Illinois

The festivities will center around a Disco theme and will include and a fun-filled evening of celebration, music, live entertainment, delicious food, a silent and live auction and much, much more. All while raising awareness of the important work of Rainbow Railroad.

“It’s a critical time for LGBTQI+ people in imminent danger, especially in places like Afghanistan, Africa and the Middle East,” stated Bruce Koff, Rainbow Railroad Board of Directors. “We are so grateful to Waukegan Friends for their consistent and enthusiastic support.
