WOW House Sells After Patch Feature

Five days after Patch featured as a WOW House June 27, it went under contract and the deal closed August 17, according to information from MRED, the North Shore Barrington Board of Realtors listing service.

The home was originally listed for sale April 9 for $1,195,000, was later reduced to $1,099,000 and on July 2 was placed under contract between a buyer and seller for $1,000,000.

Did Patch’s story help? There is no way to know for sure. once belonged to Chicago Bear quarterback Jim McMahon and is on the market for $5.45 million.
