2 Hospitalized After Rollover Crash In Downers Grove: Cops

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Two people were hospitalized following a rollover crash in Downers Grove Thursday afternoon.

The crash took place just before 3 p.m. near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Finley Road, Deputy Chief Jim McGreal told Patch. McGreal said two people involved in the crash were sent to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

According to McGreal, preliminary investigations said the a red minivan driving east on Ogden and turned left to head north on Finley. A white Honda SUV was heading west on Ogden and had right-of-way and a green light, McGreal said.

He told Patch the driver of the red minivan was cited for failing to yield before making a left turn.
