5th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival Brings Mariachi, Folk Dancing, More To Central Park

The festival, which also features authentic Mexican food and live painting sessions, will be held Saturday at Central Park.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville's 5th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival will be held at Central Park on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The festivities kick off at 5:45 p.m. with a performance by the Naperville Municipal Band. The performance schedule is as follows:

6 p.m.: A performance of the Star Spangled Banner

6:15 p.m.: Emcee Introductions

6:35 p.m.: Welcome message from Mayor Scott Wehrli, Awards

7 p.m.: Young Naperville Singers

7:30 p.m.: Folklorio Dancers

8:15 p.m.: Mariachi Band

9 p.m.: Fun Ends

Pinot's Palette will be at the event to host a guided session in which participants can paint their own 8-inch by 8-inch canvases.

Food will be available to purchase from Tamales y Antojitos, Taco Dale and other local vendors. There will also be a market area, with vendors that include Ife Tete, Juan & Luz Woodcrafter and Royal Prestige.
