Celebrity Designer Coming to Downers Grove Meet and Greet

Downers Grove, IL — Celebrity designer and television star Thom Filicia is headed to Downers Grove for a meet-and-greet party and book signing.

Filicia will appear from 7 to 9 p.m. June 15 at Scott Shuptrine Interiors inside Art Van Furniture, 1021 Butterfield Road, according to a news release.

The event is free and open to the public, but advance online registration is required.

The first 100 attendees will receive a signed copy of Filicia's book, "American Beauty: Renovating and Decorating a Beloved Retreat," according to the release.

Susanna Homan, editor-in-chief of Chicago Magazine, will be the evening's emcee, and the event will include live entertainment, refreshments and 40 percent off Vanguard products.
