Late last evening, the Illinois Appellate Court issued a ruling regarding the Sangamon County Circuit Court’s Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) on COVID-19 mandates for schools. The Appellate Court dismissed the Governor’s appeal. Therefore, there will be no changes to the status quo for District 58 and the Board-approved plan will continue moving forward. As always, thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate the various executive orders, court rulings, and actions of the legislature.
