'Donuts' Destroy Concord Park Soccer Turf: Police

A park district rep claims the incident happened between Nov. 24 and Nov. 28.

Police responded to a call from a Downers Grove Park District representative Nov. 28 after the soccer field turf at Concord Park was damaged by tire marks.

The park district rep said it appeared as though someone had been doing “donuts” in their car on the field sometime between Nov. 24 and Nov. 28. He said there had been a similar incident in O’Brien Park earlier that week.

The estimated value of damage to the turf is $500.
