Lane Reductions To Take Effect Amid Bridge Repairs On Kingery Highway
On April 1, crews are set to begin repairs on the Kingery Highway bridge near Bluff Road.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Traffic will be temporarily reduced to one lane in both directions on part of Kingery Highway as crews begin repairs on the bridge near Bluff Road.
Commuters may also encounter lane shifts as they approach the bridge, a news release said. Flaggers will be present to help direct traffic, but drivers are encouraged to use caution and take alternative routes when possible.
Part of a $1.4 million project, the work includes patching pavement, repairing joints and adding a new deck overlay to the bridge.
