Local Architecture Firm Has New Location; Offering Monthly Architecture Talks

A Downers Grove architectural firm recently moved closer to the village’s downtown and into a new office space.

SWA Architects was founded in 1980 and was located in Willowbrook until 2009 when the firm relocated to Downers Grove. As part of its most recent move, the firm has also updated its logo and simplified its name, which was previously Styczynski Walker & Associates.

“Our motivation in moving closer to downtown Downers Grove was to have greater visibility than our previous Downers Grove location and also to better serve the needs of the immediate residential and commercial community,” Bill Styczynski, president and architect at SWA Architects said in a news release.
