Mobile Driver's License Event To Visit Downers Grove Township
Residents can visit the Secretary of State Mobile Unit to renew driver's licenses, get a state ID, buy license plate stickers and more.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Drivers may have a way to avoid the recent long lines at the DMV when the Illinois Secretary of State Mobile Unit rolls into Downers Grove Township. The mobile unit will stop off at the Downers Grove Township Building, 4340 Prince St., to offer select services from 1o a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 25.
The following services will be available at the mobile driver's license services event:
- Driver's license renewals and corrections
- State identification cards
- License plate stickers
- Voter and organ donor registration
- Class D license road tests
- Free state IDs for seniors 65 and older
The mobile unit will not issue Real ID cards and cash payments will not be accepted. Residents are urged to click the link for more information about what to bring when the Secretary of State Mobile Unit visits Downers Grove Township.
