Pardon the Dust at the Downers Grove Public Library

Downers Grove, IL — The Downers Grove Public Library will be a little dustier and a little noisier as various construction projects are underway from July 5 - 26.

Lighting fixtures will be added to Conference Room A to improve visibility and fabric acoustical panels will be replaced throughout the building.

Some areas will be unavailable from July 5 - 26, but staff can help get items you’re looking for.

Another construction project wrapped up recently in the Kids Room. New lighting fixtures were added to the high-ceilinged areas that house study tables, iPads, comic books, and kids fiction books. Stop in to see the brightly-lit space.
