Suspect Sought After Walgreens Robbery In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A suspect is at large after a Walgreens was robbed in Downers Grove Friday night.

Police were called to the Walgreens at 1000 Ogden Avenue around 9:40 p.m. for a robbery report. Employees told police a man came to the cash register to buy an item before reaching into the cash drawer and taking a "small amount" of money, a news release said.

The suspect is described as a Black male standing 6 feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls sweater with a white bucket hat.
