Temporary Closure To Affect Westmont Metra Station

WESTMONT, IL — The Westmont Metra station will be closed for two days to accommodate crews as they work on the railroad tracks and crossing. The closure will be in effect Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

During the closure, Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) trains will not make stops in Westmont. Riders are advised to use the stop at Clarendon Hills Additionally, BNSF trains will run on a Sunday schedule during Saturday and Sunday.

The Cass Avenue crossing will also be closed to cars and pedestrians from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 30.
