EVERGREEN PARK, IL - A well-accomplished Broadway actor who has appeared in numerous mainstream television shows as well will be a guest instructor at this summer's Spotlight on 99th Summer Theater Camp.

Andrew Kober, who has starred in Broadway versions of Beetlejuice, Les Misérables, Hair and many others, will help lead a half-day workshop at the summer camp held at Evergreen Park Community High School's Batho Auditorium. The camp will run from June 2-26, 2025, with performances of “Beetlejuice, Jr.” scheduled for June 26, 27 and 28.

“I can’t wait to bring my experience with Beetlejuice to the students of Evergreen Park and to get to see their terrific work!” he added.

Spotlight on 99th is entering its 11th season of providing a fun, high quality theatrical experience for campers. It is open to any student entering grades 4 and up in the fall of 2025. Registration forms can be found here.

“The opportunity to work with an actor who is currently on Broadway is absolutely life-changing and we're ecstatic to offer that chance as part of our program this year at no additional cost to the campers,” said Amy Kazin, EPCHS director of activities and fine arts.

Camp registration closes on April 30, or when it reaches capacity, whichever comes first.
