Eighth-Grader Hits Stunning Buzzer Beater to Win Basketball Game
The stunning last second three-point shot by a St. Catherine's player in a game against Queen of Martyrs was captured on video.
It was like a scene out of a movie as Pat Hanrahan of St. Catherine in Oak Lawn was able to nail a last second shot to clinch a playoff win.
Playing against Queen of Martyrs and trailing by one point, Mitch Panella was able to steal the ball with just five seconds left in the game. He passed it to Hanrahan at half court who made the shot as the time expired.
The crowd goes expectedly wild.
