Gang Member Shot in Head and Killed in Burnside

A man who was a known gang member was shot in the head and died at the hospital Tuesday afternoon, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

The 28-year-old man, who was not identified, received a gunshot wound to the head at about 3:38 p.m. in the 9200 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue in Burnside, the report stated. He was later pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the report added.
