EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Wear your costume and join the Halloween fun from Friday, Oct. 25, at James J. Sexton Park, 91st Street and Rockwell Avenue. Kids up to 11 years old can paint a pumpkin, prance in a parade and pet animals from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The Halloween Parade steps off at 6 p.m. followed by pumpkin decorating, hayrides and goodie bags. Light refreshments will be served. Kids can pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch (one pumpkin per child) until they run out.
While you’re there, stop and pet some horses and goats at The Urban Barn open house. Thanks to Pete’s Fresh Market for donating the pumpkins.
