Fundraiser At EP American Legion Post Supports Student Veterans At Saint Xavier University
The SXU Student Veterans Alliance will host a fundraiser dinner Thursday, Oct. 23, at American Legion Post 854 in Evergreen Park.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — The Students Veterans Alliance will be holding a fundraiser at American Legion Post 854 this Thursday, Oct. 23. The dinner runs from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at the post, 9701 S. Kedzie Ave., Evergreen Park.
Tickets are $20 and get you a catered dinner by Barraco's and a free drink. Music will be provided by the post and there is a split-the-pot raffle. All proceeds benefit the student veterans at Saint Xavier University, which has won accolades as a Military Friendly school.
The mission of the Students Veterans Alliance of the Student Veterans of America is to assist student veterans and their families. The SVA promotes camaraderie at Saint Xav’s through community outreach, social support and a commitment to academic and professional success.
