Tickets Now Available For City Lights Orchestra Christmas Concert

Admission is free, but tickets are required to see the City Lights Orchestra's Sounds of the Season concert, Dec. 15, at Most Holy Redeemer.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Tickets for a beloved Evergreen Park holiday tradition will become available on Tuesday, Nov. 12, for City Lights Orchestra's Sounds of the Season Concert. The concert is free, but concertgoers must have a ticket to be admitted to the performance.

Tickets are limited to four per person and are only available on a first come, first served basis. Pick up tickets at the Evergreen Park Recreation Department, 3450 W. 97th St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Conducted by South Side native Rich Daniels, the renowned 16-piece City Lights Orchestra will be playing holiday classics as well as a few other surprises. Daniels' CLO has appeared with some of the greatest names in showbiz, including Ray Charles, Mel Torme, Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick, Dennis DeYoung, Diane Schuur, Dihann Carroll, the Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, The Manhattan Transfer, Frankie Laine and David Foster, to name a few.

The Sounds of the Season Concert has become a tradition for Evergreen Park families to get into the holiday spirit. The concert will take place Sunday, Dec. 15. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. at Most Holy Redeemer, 9525 S. Lawndale Ave. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets go fast so reserve today.
