Unplug At James J. Sexton Park With Todd And Connie's Acoustic Thing
Husband and wife duo Todd and Connie Beebe play original acoustic tunes and 50s pop covers Friday, Aug. 25 at James J. Sexton Park.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Unplug this Friday, Aug. 25, at acoustic music night with Todd and Connie’s Acoustic Thing. The free concert starts at 6 p.m. at the driving range in James J. Sexton Park, 91st Street and Rockwell Avenue.
Acoustic Thing is a male-female duo in the Chicagoland area-combining great musicianship with original tunes and great covers from the 1950's to now. Todd Beebe, performing with his wife,Connie, as Acoustic Thing, have been a staple in the Chicago area for many years now. Using guitar, flute, trumpet and keys, from festivals and clubs to weddings and private parties, the duo have brought music to countless occasions.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and maybe some plastic to sit on and enjoy a relaxing Sunday evening of music in the park. Don't forget the mosquito repellent.
