You don’t have to drive hours to go on a camp-out. The Park District is turning the ball fields into our very own campground! Families are invited to pitch their tents for some overnight fun in the park. Do as much or as little as you like. The Park District will have a chuck wagon set up, with our world famous hot dogs and beans, and a campfire for roasting marshmallows, and making s’mores. There will also be a late-night movie and time to tell some of your favorite ghost stories. The campout will conclude with a breakfast. This event is for families only. Parents must accompany children. There is no rain date. Feel free to come any time after 2:00 pm on Saturday to set up your tent and hang out with your family. The Park District activities will begin at 5:00 pm.
