Haymarket Time Capsule Team to Speak on Oct. 27
Hear about the hunt for and the discovery of the Haymarket time capsule

The public is invited to hear about the mystery of the Haymarket Memorial time capsule at a presentation by the Forest Park Historical Society on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 7:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The time capsule that was unearthed by archaeologists at the Forest Home Cemetery has not been opened.
Researchers believe it could be the Haymarket time capsule buried in 1892 by supporters of the anarchist Haymarket Martyrs, according to eNews Park Forest. A team of historians, researchers and local experts will host a panel discussion of the 1892 Haymarket Time Capsule after a brief Historical Society of Forest Park annual meeting. Hear plans to restore, conserve and exhibit the artifacts at Roosevelt University.
