HOBO Grand Opening Tuesday
Home Owners Bargain Outlet will have their grand opening on Tuesday, September 19th.

FOREST PARK, IL - From HOBO: Surrounded by hundreds of employees, village officials joined family members of HOBO (Home Owner’s Bargain Outlet) to cut the ceremonial ribbon today, opening the Forest Park store doors on Roosevelt Road to the public.
“Our local residents and neighbors will embrace the concepts of increasing the value of their home with functional improvements,” said Anthony Calderone, Forest Park mayor, who handled the ceremonial scissors.
“Our community has what it takes to maximize the value of HOBO’s offerings. Forest Park has strong housing stock, trusted contractors and residents who improve their quality of life right at home.”

“We always enjoyed a particular connection and success with this area,” said Jerry Jurewicz, HOBO vice president of operations. “The HOBO brand is solid throughout these surrounding communities, and we look forward to strategizing with our old customer base and introducing HOBO to new customers ready to transform a room, floor or their entire home.”
HOBO’s extended grand opening into fall will feature weekly prizes as well as a grand prize – a $10,000 Dream Kitchen.
Local community members, residents, vendors and the media are welcome for refreshments, in-store tours and an introduction to unique product lines.
Jurewicz regards HOBO’s newest opening as evidence that HOBO’s “slow and steady controlled growth” reflects its ability to provide top-notch customer service, maintain long-term relationships with consumers and invest in the right home improvement categories.
Jurewicz cites the population density, strong housing stock and diversity in Forest Park and surrounding communities as “superb opportunities for long lasting success” and a further reach west.
“Forest Park is a community where we feel right at home and we’re confident our customers will feel at home, too.” said Jurewicz. “Whether they’re spending $20 or $20,000, we believe they’ll find value and savings everyday at HOBO.
“Customers will find some new products and offerings at Forest Park that are unique to this location as we pilot programs in our core offerings for kitchen, flooring, bath and furniture. At the same time, it is important for us to communicate the bargains we have across all departments,” said Jurewicz. “At HOBO we like to say: We’re cheap and proud of it!"
