Scratch Kitchen To Open Oak Park Location

Forest Park's Scratch Kitchen will soon open a second location in Oak Park towards the end of the year. The restaurant will be located at 733 Lake St., near Oak Park Ave, according to owner and head chef Patrick O'Brien in the Forest Park Review.

The new restaurant has a capacity for about 120 people, about twice the size of the Forest Park location, and will feature an upscale craft beer selection.

"The burgers, mac and cheese and fries will take center stage like in Forest Park. We'll still do cans of beer," said O'Brien in the story.

The new establishment will also feature live music, bingo, trivia and a 3 p.m. menu with comfort foods like fried chicken, meatloaf and pot roast.
