Your Guide to the Forest Park Chili and Beer Fest

Enjoy family-friendly activities, face painting, wagon rides, a magic show and free musical entertainment at the inaugural Forest Park Chili Cook Off on Saturday Oct. 1 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Do you have the best chili recipe around? Get your cooking team together and compete at the Chili and Beer Fest. Judging will be divided in two divisions: Amateur and Professional. Prizes include $500 for the 1st place title and $250 for the 2nd place winner. There is a $25 entry fee for each team. 10:00 a.m.: Chili Cook Off begins

3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Public Chili Cook Off Tasting and People’s Choice Award Voting

3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Wagon Rides

3:45 p.m.: Magic Show featuring The Magic of Gary Kantor

5:45 p.m.: Chili Cook Off Winners Announced
