Chasing History: The John Bannister Collection &amp; A Massive Militaria Event
We are Chasing History across every theater of World War II in a colossal auction event that merges top-secret strategy with frontline firepower. This catalog features the esteemed John Bannister Collection (1000 Series Lots) alongside a massive offering of General Militaria (2000 Series Lots), creating a seamless timeline of the war from the planning room to the battlefield.
The **John Bannister Collection** serves as the anchor of the auction, offering a rare glimpse into the "Intellectual Architecture" of the war. This includes the ultra-rare "BIGOT" classified documents&nbsp;regarding Operation Neptune and Utah Beach—papers that required a security clearance higher than Top Secret. But the Bannister lots are equally defined by their exceptional firearms. Highlights include the legendary **FP-45 "Liberator" Pistol**, the clandestine single-shot weapon dropped to resistance fighters behind enemy lines. Serious collectors will also find an **Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine**, a **Super Rare Mauser G41(M)** early German semi-automatic, and a stunning **Johnson 1941 .30-06 Rifle**.
