Special music event at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street, on Saturday, February 14, Valentine’s Day at 2:00 PM. Sponsored by the Glen Ellyn Historical Society, entertainer and historian, Clarence Goodman presents “Not So Silly Love Songs: My Favorite Love Songs.” To entertain the audience, Goodman uses his voice, guitar and tells stories about the songs. He includes some of the classic love songs and the times as well as years they were written. Included in the program are the stories behind the writing and producing of these famous love songs. Goodman has entertained and educated audiences at the GE History Center previously and is considered a great event performer. Free admission for GEHS members and students, $10 for non members.
